DLP® Discovery 4100 Chipsets
The DLP Discovery D4100 chipset is designed for high-speed, high-resolution implementations and has been optimized for visible and ultra violet (UV) wavelengths. Researchers and engineers can reach binary image pattern rate up to 32,552 Hz or 8-bit grayscale rate up to 290Hz with data rates up to 51.2 Gbit/s. Two chipsets are available:
DLP 7000 0.7" XGA DLP 9500 0.95" 1080p
The complete DLP Discovery D4100 chipset includes:
-DDC4100 controller with 32/64 bit LVDS data and control user interface
-DAD 2000 Power and Reseat driver with high reset frequency control for 16 banks of DMD mirrors.
DLP® 5500 0.55" XGA S450 Chipsets
The compact, micro-sized DMD of the DLP® 5500 0.55" XGA S450 Chipset features components integration into portable equipment such as the CEL5500. The chipset has been specially designed for structured light requirements in medical imaging, 3D scanning, maskless lithography, and machine vision. Binary pattern rate up to 5000 Hz and 8-bit grayscale/60 Hz video up to 500 Hz can be acheived.
The DLP® 5500 ).55" XGA S450 chipset DMD consists of a 2-dimensional array CMOS memory cells, organized in a square grid of 1024 memory cell columns by 768 rows. The mirror array is written column by column over a 16-bit low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) double data rate (DDR) bus.

DLP® 6500/ DLP® 9000 Hi-Resolution Chipsets
The DLP 6500/DLP9000 Hi-Resolution Chipsets feature LightCrafter 6500 and 9000EVM specially designed for use with the single scalable, multi-functional DLPC900 DMD controller. This High performance controller provides programmable, high-speed pattern rates for superior light control in industrial, medical, and scientific 3D scanning and printing, as well as intelligent imaging applications. Highly flexible, the system offers a number of ports and options for simple connectivity.
The DLPC900 DMD controller provides 128 MB of embedded DRAM for convenient storage of up to 400 1-bit patterns. Input and output triggers are designed for easy integration and synchronization with a variety of sensors, cameras, and other attacged devices. DLP6500 0.65" 1080p and DLP90000.90" WQXGA DMDs are supported.

Three high-resolution chipsets are available: DLP6500 FYE, DLP6500FLQ, and DLP9000FLS.
1. DLP® 6500 FYE 0.65" 1080p S600
The DLP6500 FYE LightCrafter 6500 S6000 chipset feature a high-resolution 0.65" 1080p DMD spatial light modulator (SLM) for controlling amplitute, direction, and/or phase of incoming light. Unique capabilities have been integrated to support a wide variety of industrial, medical, and advanced imaging applications and end equipment solutions.
Pattern rates up to 9,253Hz Binary and 250 Hz 8-bit grayscale are acheivable. Designers will appreciate the user-friendly LCR6500 EVM Graphical User Interface (GUI) for easy out-of-the-box deployment. The DLPC900 Application Programming Interface (API) is provided for custom applications.
The chipset feature of 2 million micromirrors (1920 x 1080). The DLP6500 FYE LightCrafter operates at 405 nm wavelength.
2. DLP® 6500FLQ 0.65" 1080p TYPE-A
The DLP6500 FLQ LightCrafter 6500 TYPE-A chipset feature a high-resolution 0.65" 1080p DMD spatial light modulator (SLM) for controlling amplitute, direction, and/or phase of incoming light. Unique capabilities have been integrated to support a wide variety of industrial, medical, and advanced imaging applications and end equipment solutions.

3. DLP® 9000FLS 0.9" WQXGA TYPE-A
The DLP9000 WQXGA LightCrafter 9000 provides superior DLP technology performance and flexibility in a wide variety light steering applications. Over 4 million micromirrors (2560 x 1600) aid in maximizing 2560 z 1600 resolution,optical throughput, and brightness. The DLP9000 chipset is especially designed to provide fine resolution and build sizes for large object 3D machine vision and printing applications. Two DLPC900 digital controllers are required for operation.
Pattern rates up to 9,523 Hz provide real time measurements, faster 3D printing builds, and highly accurate digital light exposures with competitive cycle times. Designers will appreciate unmatched flexibility to format and sequence light patterns, using a user-friendly GUI. The configurable input/output trigger enables convenient synchronization with cameras, sensors, or other peripheral devices. Enhanced flexibility makes the DLP9000 WQXGA LightCrafter 9000 a highly suitable for industrial, medical, security, telecom, and instrumentation applications.
